Hemp Education

To best understand the benefits, background and scientific application of Nesa’s Hemp products, we’ve compiled a quick and easy FAQ to help answer a few questions about Hemp products in general, and why Nesa’s Hemp truly is Nature’s Solution in its Purest Form.
Cannabis Chart

“Hemp” is a term used to classify varieties of Cannabis that contain 0.3% or less THC content (by dry weight).

“CBD” is a non-intoxicating cannabinoid found in cannabis. Cannabidiol (CBD) is the second-most abundant cannabinoid in the plant (after tetrahydrocannabinol (THC))  and has many potential therapeutic benefits (outlined below). CBD can be sourced from both marijuana plants and hemp plants. Whether it is extracted from hemp or marijuana, it remains identical on a molecular level. At Nesa’s, we work exclusively with certified organic hemp, grown with care and extracted with precision.

“Marijuana” is a term used to classify varieties of Cannabis that contain more than 0.3% THC (by dry weight) and can induce psychotropic or euphoric effects on the user.

Hemp Oil with naturally occurring CBD is an antibacterial with many potential benefits. It fights inflammation from exercise and over-use, reduces stress from everyday life, promotes deep, regenerative sleep and aids focus by calming the mind and body. Nesa’s Hemp Oil balances the mind and body by promoting natural healing through the endocannabinoid system.

All cannabinoids, including CBD, produce effects in the body by attaching to certain receptors. CBD interacts with many of these receptors through the Endocannabinoid System (ECS). The ECS is a system of receptors found in the brain and body that is commonly known as the body’s "master regulatory system,”. Functions that the ECS regulates include: appetite and digestion, temperature, immune function, inflammation, motor control, mood, memory, sleep, and pain and pleasure response. As the body’s master regulatory system, it interacts with nearly all other bodily systems to keep the body in a healthy state: homeostasis.

Homeostasis plays an important role in our overall health. Since external cannabinoids like CBD can bond to our cannabinoid receptors just as well as the endocannabinoids our bodies naturally produce, CBD products can have wide-ranging therapeutic benefits for various health issues.

Living Hemp is a rare form of hemp that is delicately produced by keeping the whole plant alive during the extraction process. This extraction method—unique to Nesa’s—sustains the plant’s natural molecular structure, resulting in hemp that is enriched with healthy fats, vitamins, naturally occurring CBD, and beneficial phytonutrients: the nutrients from plants that are necessary for sustaining human life and preventing disease. You’ve heard of super greens, this is super hemp. At Nesa’s, certified organic Living Hemp is our foundation. It is the very heartbeat for all that we create.

CBD isolate products are those which contain only the CBD molecule, with no accompanying terpenes, THC, or other cannabinoids. Full-spectrum CBD is the extraction of all of the components, cannabinoids, terpenes, flavonoids, etc. of the hemp plant, including low levels of THC. Full-spectrum CBD products mean that most of the terpenes and cannabinoids available stay intact during processing. This makes a big difference in how the body receives CBD, as terpenes are natural molecules and when combined in full-spectrum oil with other cannabinoids, the benefits are multiplied, thanks to the entourage effect. The entourage effect simply means that when consumed together, the compounds in cannabis offer synergistic interactions—thus, increasing the health benefits by enhancing the overall outcome and experience. Nesa’s Organic Hemp Oil is full-spectrum hemp oil because your body is a temple and deserves all the benefits of Nature’s Solution.
