He previously served as Chief Science Officer at Charlotte’s Web, a leading company in the CBD industry, and now brings his extensive expertise to support the growth of Nesa’s Hemp.
As Chief Biomedical Advisor, Dr. Aliffe ensures that every hemp wellness formulation is rooted in science, validated by clinical insight, and optimized for real-world results. His leadership bridges the gap between laboratory research, clinical application, and consumer education—helping people worldwide understand and benefit from the science of hemp.



Dr. Karyemaitre Aliffe is a multilingual physician-scientist with more than 35 years of global experience in natural products research and discovery. His career spans from Ivy League academia and Silicon Valley biotechnology to hands-on collaborations in the healing forests of the Amazon, Australia, and Africa.
A graduate of Harvard University (BA, Organic & Medicinal Chemistry) and Stanford University (MD, magna cum laude, with Distinguished Honors in Research), Dr. Aliffe also trained in Stanford’s prestigious MD–PhD Program in Cancer Biology, Systems Biology, and Molecular & Clinical Pharmacology. He later completed residency training in Anesthesiology, Intensive Care, and Pain Management at Stanford University Medical Center.
Throughout his career, Dr. Aliffe has combined rigorous scientific research with translational medicine, focusing on the endocannabinoid system, cannabinoid pharmacology, and integrative neurophysiology. His expertise supports the development of cannabis-based therapeutics and hemp wellness products aimed at advancing human fitness, cognition, and longevity.
